5 Reasons to be excited for Strawberries & Creem 2018

4th June 2018.
by Alia Khan.

Strawberries and Creem festival is returning to Cambridge on Saturday, June 16th and we’re mega excited to go! They’re celebrating their 5th anniversary this year, and if you haven’t been before here’s 5 reasons why you srsly need to be there…

The lineup this year is pretty phenomenal, and exclusively headlining is none other than noughties legend T-Pain! Plus you’ll see Not3s, Kojo Funds, Madam X, DJ Luck & MC Neat, Crazy Cousinz to name just a few. The S&C vibe is everything from the legendary 90’s garage movement to the iconic noughties era along with the fresh music of today. And if that’s not enough, this year they’ve gone & added a dance stage. Whoever you are & whatever your thang, you’re bound to find someone you like and discover someone new along the way.

We’ll take any excuse to dress in OTT outfits and tons of glitter! Hair braids, face jewels, sequin mesh, frayed denim – you name it, we’re for it! Festival dressin’ is our ultimate fav so anything that gives us an excuse to get glit is a winner in our minds.

Also, if you’re low-key panicking about what to wear in the footwear department – there aint no need to sacrifice comfort (flats all the way, baby), check out our cute festi-ready shoes here.

Strawberries and Creem is all about bringing us the beauty and heritage of Cambridge (we may even see some sunshine if we’re lucky…YASS!) along with a new wave of music to the city. Set against a super regal and refined backdrop, you’re sure to get a few hella cute snaps for the ‘gram.

With an incredible array of food traders and cuisines from across Cambridgeshire and beyond – you’ll be able to fill your tummy AND your insta-feed pretty nicely here. Music festival & food festival all rolled into one? Now that’s something that ticks ALL of our boxes.

Some of your footy mad pals can’t choose between the World Cup or this INSANE line up at S&C? Problem solved huni’s – this year they’ll be screening the FIFA World Cup at the Haggis Farm Festival location!  And if this doesn’t swing it for you, they have also been working with some really fun brands to create super interesting and interactive areas for all you festi-baes on site.

So yeah, all in all we can expect good music, great food, an endless array of glitter and a helluva lotta fun things to do. Better add it to your to-do list gurl ‘cause it’s gonna be a vibe!
