In case you didn’t know already, tis’ the season to be confident, be the trend, be Public Desire.
Need to know more about our campaign – you’re in luck, we’ve gone behind the scenes on this one and spoken to our in house Footwear Designer and Creative Manager to give you the 411 on our latest campaign.
Sarah – Footwear Designer
Whats your fave shoe from the collection?
My favorite shoe currently has to be beatbox I’m so in love with ankle boots at the moment and think the heel is gorgeous, and range of colours we are doing in it are BANGING.
What inspired you to design the collection?
We use trend forecasting websites that will show us certain themes or trends, we then manipulate these trends into what we think will work for our PD gal (with added glitter and fabulousness).
How would you describe the collection?
I’d describe the collection as fun, sass & a variety of shoes for all PD gals, perfect for the holiday season.
Danni – Creative Manager
What was your inspiration for the shoot?
As a footwear brand it is important that we make our product the hero and so a catwalk video focused only on that helped showcase that our designs are heavily focused on those key catwalk trends. We design in house and it is important to tell that story, that said we also want to inspire our customer and so we shot the styles in a club / bar environment a place wear our products are highly likely to be worn.
Explain the idea behind the campaign,
The campaign was actually two shoots merged together as we wanted to show the journey of the inspiration we take from the catwalk and then show it insitu styled up for inspiration. It was a way to really show off our products by having the models on the catwalk video purely being styled in white we added the prices to affordability of our product.
What’s your fave look from the shoot?
I have two main shots that I adore and really encapsulates the feeling of both shoots, for me they are both different and brilliant in their own way.
