#LFW: Best Of British
The fashion industry is going cray at the moment with all eyes on Fashion Month and London is no different. Since last Friday the capital has been full of fashion buzz, Instagram feeds full of fashion hashtags and handbags full of revival kits.
To celebrate one of our favourite times of year we wanted to highlight some of our fave shows and designers so far.
We have been feeling the fun factor over at #PDHQ this week and whilst we love a chic simple day-to-day look, we are embracing the bold and babein’ looks for Fashion Week!
For AW16 we will defo be all about the faux fur – it was a huge trend last year and we are certain it’s going to be a huge trend this year too. Shoes aren’t the only way to liven up a winter outfit, check out her colourful faux fur popsicle scarves!
HOUSE OF HOLLAND
Not only does Henry Holland have his favourite squad bringing the party to his shows, the party also comes in the form of the clothing. Paying homage to the Seventies, Twenties and a little Eighties the mash-ups came thick and fast. Sequinned mini dresses, dangling gem-fringed hems and sparkling fishnets … yes, yes and yes!
We know you #PDBaes are not afraid to bring the sass on a Saturday Night, so we knew we must include Julien Macdonald. With low necklines, high hemlines and extreme splits this collection is perfect for all you #PDBaes out there! Take inspo from the collection with embellishment; sequins, glitter and fringing, along with a pair of your highest heels and you’ll be ready for the weekend ahead.
Autumn Winter is always about layering, but no one said it had to be boring. Marques Almeida brightened up our day with their primary bold colours. Oversized shirts, longling slip dresses and super-sized houndstooth has already been added to our AW lustlist. Our favourite part, the mesh boots obvs!
