10th October marks World Mental Health Day. The subject of mental health has been more and more talked about this years, theme is Mental Health in the Workplace. Here at PDHQ we decided to give a little back to our hard working staff and raise awareness in the office. We’ve also worked with @happinessplanner to come together to give you some tips for you on keeping positive.

Be the reason someone smiles today.

Don’t be afraid to dress up –

No matter if it’s wearing those heels with an extra half inch, putting on your best red lippy or going all out and wearing a new outfit, show up and dress up. It’s true what they say, dress good, feel good.

Don’t give up. There will always be someone to help you through.

Make plans –

Go for a coffee after work, catch up with an old friend or have a moive night in with your bestie. Don’t dwell on your day and have something to look forward to.

Try and see good in every situtation.

Give a compliment –

Making someone else’s day will always improve yours. Give someone a compliment, if they feel good, the positive vibes quickly spread.

Everything will be okay in the end. If it’s not okay, it’s not the end.


Don’t compare yourself to anyone else –

You’re looking to be the best version of yourself, don’t compare your own progress to anyone elses. You’re in exactly the right place for you right now.

Do what you like, like what you do. 

One step at a Time –

You can’t master your whole life in one day. Relax, breathe and take your time. Triumph one day, and then just keep doing that.

Be proud of yourself for how hard you’re trying.
