The buzzing in the hive is that it’s finally the Queen Bee’s Birthday. *bows down* In celebration of this momentous occasion, PDHQ have put together a countdown (pun intended) of the best Beyoncé videos for your viewing pleasure. Grab yourself a hairbrush, you know you’ll be singing along.
Best Beyoncé Videos
First off, everyone knows that all of Beyoncé’s videos are insane, which means that when putting this treasure trove together, some of them just didn’t make the cut. We couldn’t go on without at least giving them a shout out – in the category of honourable mentions; Halo, Partition, Drunk In Love, Sweet Dreams & Déjà Vu. You were good baes, but you just missed out from being on the list. We’re sorry, we still love you!
Okay so technically this one isn’t a Beyoncé video but we couldn’t leave it out. If we ever need breaking out of jail, we’d want Beyoncé on our side. P.S. how do they get their eyeliner so on fleek?!
So, there is one thing that we want to clarify and that is that we most certainly did not wake up like that, but give us three hours and we can… kind of…
We admit it, when we were younger we’d make up dance routines with our friends and think we were celeb ready (we know, we’ll sign autographs later), but this is next level. Girl is werkin’ it!
When Queen B has a message, y’all better listen up. Pretty Hurts rightfully claims its place in this best Beyoncé videos countdown with this power ballad. YAAAAAS QUEEN!
Another of her videos in which she shows she’s an independent woman, but this one is almost vintage at 10 years old (we can’t believe it either!). Regardless, it’s still our favourite break up song. Ever. Get your girls around and sing it as loud as you can.
Best Thing I Never Had
Summing up every thought we’ve ever had when we’ve looked back on some of our… um… mistakes… Best Thing I Never Had rightfully deserves to be on the list.
Love On Top
This puts a whole new twist on the classic boyband line up format, but when she’s in front who even cares who the guys are? Captain’s hat or top hat – B will never ever be a cruise ship singer but she sure does look killer dressed as one!
If I Were A Boy
Oh, how the tables have turned! Here’s another one that deserves to be sang with a group of your most loved gals, tipple in hand and volume on max.
Crazy In Love
It’s an oldie, but a goodie! First released in 2003, this gem has the honour of featuring the power couple themselves. Only the Queen B would be able to wear jean shorts, a white vest top and bright red slingback stilettos and make us all jel.
Run The World
If there is anything that she has ever taught us, it would be don’t underestimate us girls! Beyoncé will forever be known as the one who gives womankind the confidence and sass to run the world.
We are strong independent women who don’t need no man. Single Ladies has won our top spot in our best Beyoncé videos countdown and rightfully so! We mean, whoever says they don’t know the dance are lying. Now put your hands up!
P.S. we also think that Lemonade the visual album is the best thing to happen this year, but with 12 songs in one, it’s kind of had an unfair advantage. Even so, it’s been on repeat since release.
Happy Birthday, Bey!
