Tell us about yourself
I’m a Fashion Stylist and creative consultant born and raised in London <3
How did you get into styling? Do you have any advice for anyone who would like to become a stylist?
I wanted to be a fashion designer ever since I was a little girl but mainly because I wasn’t aware of any other careers in the fashion industry. When I realised fashion design wasn’t for me, I was advised to try styling and I really loved it. I kept interning and working on my own projects, which is my advice to anyone who wants to potentially become a stylist. Start shadowing and assisting and collaborating!
Who is your fave person that you’ve styled so far?
My fave client has to obviously be Maya Jama we have had some fab looks over the past year, definitely some personal milestones for both of us, which we have done together which is sick and I’m grateful for!
Where do you get your inspiration from?
My inspiration comes from everyday life growing up in London but also specifically costume design in movies and historical reference. For example for my own personal style I love looking at the 1970s for inspo.
How would you describe your own style and vibe?
My style is definitely a mix of all the sportswear I wish I had growing up which I can now get .. a lot of vintage finds and inherited pieces with streetwear influence – that is my vibe for real.
Which PD shoes are you obsessing over right now?
I love a thigh high, it’s a quick statement you can add to a simple look for a night out.
The perspex heels trend is back with a vengeance, what outfit would you pair them with?
Paired with an insane amount of jewellery because over accessorising is life.
in our red Ace Pointed Barely There Heels.
Describe your typical day…
Luckily for me no day is the same.. it does mostly consist of sifting through a lot of emails, organising client looks for the week, developing moodboards and at least one meeting .. all aided by my lovely assistant Rhea.
If you could style anyone in the world, who would it be?
Prince when he was alive 🙁
What’s next for Alizé?
A lot of collabs and a new zine is in the works so please watch this space…
