Kim Kardashian : When Balmain x Yeezy happened

18th October 2017.
by Lucy Greenwell.

Think embellished. Think faux fur. Think sheer. Think a white and nude colour palette. Yep, that’s right it’s the Balmain moment all the Yeezy fans out there were waiting for. As Kim, Kourtney, Khloe, Kendall, Kylie, Kris, Caitlyn and North entered Madison Square Garden in front of over 20,000 people during NYFW. No one kills it like the Kardashian Jenners.

We can all agree it was a sparkly, spandex-y scene where everyone’s draws dropped open. It was no secret there was a big amount of prep BTS for this entrance, and baes – we all know it paid off. The squad was on point.

Teased earlier on that week, the whole Kardashian clan aka #theworldsmosttalkedaboutfamily weren’t actually wearing the Balmain x Yeezy collection, but custom made Yeezy Season 3 x Balmain ensembles designed especially by the in-house creative director himself, and practically BFF of the family; Oliver Rousteing. We’re crushin’ on Oliver for his one-of-a-kind garments that are super sparkly and embellished EVERYTHING.

The poise of the the Kardashian’s was on point as usual, with as we said, hours of prep for the the entrance, the location, who stood where… the whole lot. And at first glance, you would think the jewel-encrusted get ups would have taken even longer to prepare for – BUT it was said Oliver managed to create SLAY these beauties in just 5 days. Kim tweeted ” YEEZY X BALMAIN. The fam all dressed in exclusive Balmain for Yeezy pieces! Kanye flew to Paris a week ago and @Oliver_Rousteing made it happen in 5 days!!!” YASSSS.

Squad goals amirite?!
